There are those who would claim that the above picture is 'proof' that Rev. Jim Higgins beat his son, Anthony Higgins, when the boy was only 4 years old. These people have spread other lies as well - saying Rev. Higgins wife, Linda Meinhardt Higgins, died under 'suspicious circumstances'. They didn't stop there - the LIES go on and on. What follows proves that anyone making such claims is an absolute liar and are part of a CONSPIRACY TO RUIN REV. HIGGINS' REPUTATION.
But first a few words from Rev. Higgins:
"For three years, a group of
people have defamed, slandered, and destroyed my reputation, character and
credibility as a minister by posting patently false stories about me in social
media.
Their sole purpose was one of
retaliation against me, for having been successful, in campaigning effectively,
against former Aransas County Texas Court at law Judge William Adams.
They began in 2014, with a
picture of District 1 Constable Doc Thomas, depicting bullet holes in it,
saying that I had given it to them, to pass on to him. That picture was a fraud, and I had never met
Doc Thomas, or even heard about the picture, until two years later, after it
had been passed around the Sheriffs office, creating animosity toward me among
the deputies, and resulting in four false arrests, and 20 potential jury trials,
against false, and misleading charges.
They posted a picture of my
son Anthony when he was four years old, and he fell off a neighbors back porch,
from a second floor balcony. They said it represented my beating him, and many
other false, and misleading statements, dating all the way back to 1971.
My purpose in posting this information
is so we may respond to the gossip and rumor mill, by setting the record
straight, and by posting the actual truth.
My sons own words, as well as
his mothers, plus their signed statements, along with their sworn testimony, show
conclusively, that "THEY LIED ABOUT EVERYTHING, FROM THE VERY BEGINNING".
May we now get justice, and
put this to rest, in the name of Jesus?"
